Carpe Diem is a hotel in the centre of town in Livigno, where you can spend a winter or summer holiday in complete relaxation and enjoy sports activities in the mountains of Valtellina. This sustainable hotel and bed&breakfast was created by the hands and minds of Moreno and Sofia, with the invaluable help of their children Matteo, Simone, Elena and Giovanni. They personally executed all of the renovations, carpentry and joinery that made it one of Livigno’s most modern structures, equipped with geothermal probes, insulation and solar panels.

Staying in Livigno at Carpe Diem is a rejuvenating experience. It is a mountain holiday away, and yet you feel at home, as you are welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the Galli family and pampered with a variety of dedicated services.

The hotel, restaurant, and bed and breakfast is family-run, and all of the members of our family are committed to providing guests with the best Livigno welcome. Dad Moreno and son Matteo make the delicacies that come out of the kitchen, and mum Sofia along with their daughter Elena and their sons Simone and Giovanni manage the rooms and table service. We are a great team that welcomes each person staying at the hotel as if they were a guest in our home.

n the Bondì room, reserved for hotel guests and furnished in aged wood and stone, we serve a tasty breakfast buffet every morning with all the traditional Italian breakfast beverages and sweets, savoury dishes for those who prefer an English breakfast, and even a selection of gluten-free foods. It is the best way to start the day, as you enjoy a magnificent view of Livigno from the windows.

Garden with deck chairs

Outside the hotel, you can sunbathe and relax on deck chairs in our garden, overlooking the mountainside and sheltered from the hustle and bustle of downtown Livigno.

Bed and Breakfast Formula: overnight only

The basic formula at the Carpe Diem hotel provides for hotel guests to stay overnight with breakfast included, allowing guests to have the utmost freedom to decide on a day-to-day basis whether to use our in-house restaurant-trattoria for lunch and/or dinner. Should guests choose to dine with us, they have access to a 10% discount on individual meals.

Half board or full board

For guests who want a hotel stay in Livigno that includes meals, we offer traditional half-board or full-board, in addition to breakfast, according to specific needs. The Carpe Diem restaurant will be happy to welcome guests for lunch and dinner.
